This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed through Little Ratel, a brand operated by Docscope AI Inc. ("Docscope AI," "Little Ratel," "we," "us," or "our").

Please read this Shipping Policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Made-to-Order Products

All Little Ratel books are personalized and made to order. This means each book is produced specifically based on the content, photos, and customization choices submitted by the customer.

Because each order is custom-made, production must be completed before shipment can begin.

2. When We Ship

Once your book has been completed and is ready for dispatch, we will arrange shipment as soon as reasonably possible.

In general, we aim to ship orders promptly after production is finished. However, production timelines may vary depending on order volume, customization requirements, operational capacity, holidays, supplier schedules, quality review, and other factors.

3. Estimated Delivery Time

After an order has shipped, delivery typically takes approximately 10 to 20 days to arrive at the customer's address.

This timeframe is an estimate only and is not guaranteed.

4. No Guaranteed Delivery Date

While we work to ensure that orders are shipped promptly after production, we do not guarantee any specific delivery date or transit time.

Delivery may be affected by factors outside our control, including but not limited to:

  • carrier capacity and scheduling;
  • customs clearance or border inspections, where applicable;
  • weather conditions;
  • public holidays;
  • peak shipping seasons;
  • transportation disruptions;
  • labor shortages or strikes;
  • remote delivery locations;
  • incorrect or incomplete address information; and
  • other delays caused by third-party logistics providers or events beyond our reasonable control.

Because shipping is handled by independent third-party carriers, Little Ratel and Docscope AI Inc. are not responsible for delays occurring after an order has been handed over for shipment.

5. Shipping Carriers

We may use third-party shipping and logistics providers selected at our discretion. The specific carrier used for an order may vary depending on destination, shipping method, operational needs, and service availability.

We reserve the right to choose or change the carrier without prior notice.

6. Shipping Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

We are not responsible for delivery issues, failed deliveries, delays, or additional costs resulting from:

  • incorrect or incomplete shipping information;
  • invalid addresses;
  • undeliverable addresses; or
  • failure to receive or collect the package where required.

If an order is returned to us due to an address issue provided by the customer, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be re-shipped.

7. Tracking Information

If tracking information is available for your order, we may provide it once the shipment has been processed by the carrier.

Please note that tracking updates are provided by third-party carriers and may not appear immediately after dispatch. We are not responsible for delays or inaccuracies in carrier tracking systems.

8. Shipping Delays

From time to time, shipments may be delayed for reasons outside our control. These delays may occur before or after dispatch.

Little Ratel is not liable for shipping delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, weather, supply chain disruptions, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

Shipping delays do not automatically entitle a customer to cancel an order, refuse delivery, or receive a refund, especially for personalized products that have already entered production or been shipped.

9. Lost, Damaged, or Missing Packages

If your package appears to be lost, damaged, or missing after shipment, please contact us at support@littleratel.com within 7 days of the expected delivery window or recorded delivery date, and provide any relevant information we request.

We may, at our discretion, assist in opening a carrier investigation or reviewing the issue with the shipping provider. However, resolution may depend on the carrier's procedures, findings, and limitations.

If a package is confirmed to have been lost or damaged due to an issue attributable to us or our fulfillment process, we may choose, at our sole but reasonable discretion, to offer a replacement, reprint, store credit, or other appropriate remedy.

10. Customs, Duties, and Import Charges

For international orders, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other local charges may apply depending on the destination country.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, these charges are the customer's responsibility. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing or for any additional charges imposed by customs authorities or local governments.

11. Refused or Unclaimed Shipments

If a shipment is refused, unclaimed, abandoned, or returned to sender after attempted delivery, we reserve the right to deduct any shipping, return, handling, storage, or other related costs from any refund or credit that may otherwise be considered.

For personalized products, refused or unclaimed shipments may not be eligible for refund.

12. Delivery Issues After Shipment

Once an order has been shipped, delivery is subject to the carrier's operations and processes. We do not control how quickly a carrier moves or delivers a package after dispatch.

Customers acknowledge that any delivery date provided by us is an estimate only and should not be relied upon as a guaranteed deadline.

If you need a book for a specific event, holiday, birthday, or other time-sensitive occasion, you place your order at your own risk. We strongly recommend ordering well in advance.

13. Changes to This Shipping Policy

We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time without prior notice. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
